The first TC with the Italian National Team for WOC 2009 here in Hungary started yesterday. Today we did a hard long distance training in the morning and a sprint in the afternoon.

I did not make it on IFK Lidingös first team for 10mila 2010. A big disappointment for me. It was so hard to qualify, because we have a very strong team this year. So boys, good luck! You will do well!

CIMG36202 days of nice weather (apart the 10 minutes of snow/hail when changing after the first training), good trainings in beautiful terrain and a successful competition. What more to expect from a weekend?
On Saturday I went to Finspang with Rachel and Graham since we didn't have the possibility to train there last weekend with the rest of the club. The plan was to do two trainings sessions at moderate speed to get used to the terrain and still not to be too tired before Stigtomta we were running on Sunday.

SchlernSince i had to stay back home in Südtirol for some days i used this time to do some kind of altitude training. So i'm spending this week in our small hut on Seiseralm at more or less 2000m. I'm just sleeping and training up there since the hut is very poorly equipped, but i think this is enough. After some easy runs in the beginning of the week (still some problems with the knee i hit in Norway) i did good quality medium speed trainings on Wednesday and yesterday. For the Weekend two long distance trainings with nice panorama are planned.

I'm really enjoying my training at the moment, the place up there is beautiful and very quite. Visit the gallery for some pictures.

It has been awhile since my last post. I have simply been busy with work and training. A bad excuse, i know. I could give a summing up of the last two months, but this is already history. Better to look to the future. Two hard weeks are awaiting me: Italian Sprint champs (i will try to defend my title) and Italian Cup tomorrow and on Sunday, of course Jukola next weekend and then the World Cup races near Oslo the week after. After that the final preparation weeks and WOC (hopefully) in the middle of June. Will be a nice month.
